DESIGN PLANS
As an Interior Designer who specialises in residential design, I draw on my a wealth of experience in design, from custom kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms and renovations through all projects. I am able to use my experience to guide clients through materials, finishes and product selections. Additionally, I am able to then draft up plans to showcase design solutions to enable easy transitions between my clients and their contractors.
DETAILED INDIVIDUAL ROOM PLANS
Clients bring me in to address specific rooms, often Kitchen or Bathroom renovations. With these projects, it is often very helpful for me to complete detailed room plans.
Basic floor plans are a cost effective way to see what is potential within a room, and build a foundation of designs to pass onto relevant trades. However full plans, including colour renders can also be helpful for clients.

COLOUR PLANS
FULL COLOUR PLANS COST $110 PER HOUR, with the average project costing $250-$300.
(Colour plans include floor plans and elevations, with textures applied to demonstrate design intention. A project like this requires a lot of time, and often take 3hrs on average)

BASIC FLOOR PLANS
The most common way I assist my clients is working with their space, and coming up with recommendations on how to address the area, not only in layout but in items. Below showcases a previous project of mine where the client was exploring the option of making their bathroom larger by removing the isolated toilet room.
Another example of this was for a kitchen design, to show how to best layout their space for their specific requirements, as kitchens often have!

FULL PLANS
Once a design is more finalised, I am often requested to supply additional detail plans as needed depending on the project. Below is example of exactly that, noting tile positions, final dimensions, as well as relating the information into elevations to give all trades the required information to bring this project to life!
DRAFTING OF PROJECTS FOR QUOTING
One of the popular options I do, is discuss a project in detail and then draft up a solution. My clients are then able to send out that working drawing
to a variety of manufacturers for accurate quoting. This is particularly popular for clients who are not in my area, but are wishing for my guidance in creating something to full fill a need. Below is an example of just that!
Some clients find line drawings hard to visualise, so prefer coloured plans. Below is an example of such a project, with the colour render helping the client understand the look of their feature cabinetry doors:

I am able to help guide clients through the material selection process, and give recommendations on market trends and finish quality, like I did with the below client to completely transform their kitchen:
To help clients visualise their space, I am also able to create 3D renders of the space, through programs such as Photoshop. This is a suggestive look to the finish, and is a lengthy process however can really create comfort in my client's mind as to their selections and potential outcome. MY PRICES
My prices do depend on the project and scope of works, but generally I charge $110 an hour + GST for my time. Prior to the commencement of any work, I do send out a proposal to each client that indicates what I intend to do and potential total costs depending on the scale of the project.
